2025 Election Security: A Unified Effort to Protect the Vote Award

The Election Security Advisory Committee (ESAC), formed by the County Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters, was created in response to the misinformation, cyber threats, and intimidation of election workers during the 2020 elections. ESAC addresses key challenges in local elections, such as ballot box accessibility, cybersecurity, election worker safety, and voter suppression.

The  Ride Along Program: Fostering Transparency and Trust in Elections offers an opportunity for citizens to observe the election process firsthand, promoting accountability and building confidence in the integrity of the electoral system.

Youth Engagement in Elections
Kids Voting was introduced at all Vote Centers to help to establish the importance of voting in youth of all ages. This experience allows young students to physically go through the process of voting in person and turning in their ballot to the official ballot box.
